I thought the movie sucked. There was no actual story line and they absolutely butchered it with special effects, which is what happens with most movies nowadays unfortunately.
Directors need to calm down with the 3D shit and focus on good movie making, it's getting ridiculous.
i thought it was awesome. way better than the 05 or 06 superman that came out. and it seems like they laid a lot of ground work for future movies...looking forward to an awesome series. loved the old school superman movies when i was a kid...hopefully this new round will do those justice.
Completely agree man. It sucks going to the movies these days, looking forward to both a good movie and some good previews of whats to come, and have them all be cheesy 3D-fueled projects. It sucks.
3d is on its way out though thank his. ESPN cut their 3d programming I give it 2-3 yrs for no 3d and "4k" movies blowing up as 4k TVs become more popular
I thought man of Steel was alright. It had shades of the previous superman remake but they are clearly once again trying to reestablish the franchise since Superman Returns seemed to have failed. Half the movie was really slow (flashbacks and showing Supermans morality) but once Zod comes to earth it picks up a tad. Like Gato said I left the theatre just being like "what a totally average movie, wish I went to see This Is The End instead". If they make this into a trilogy I hope they at least try to make it more original.
Also, I liked the Lexcorp easter egg as well as the Wayne Enterprises easter egg that can be found in the movie. I'll let viewers find them for themselves though.
I really liked it. Two favorite things were the casting and special effects. Every major character's actor was able to portray their personality and attitude toward things very well, and it gave it a very realistic feel. Not realistic, I mean it's superman, but you know what I mean.
Special effects were off the charts. After seeing the new Star Trek I thought nothing could top it, but this fucking blew it out of the water. I was constantly looking for flaws, but everything was fine-tuned to perfection. The only movie I thought was better in terms of special effects was Life of Pi.
Overall, see it in theaters. I think it would kind of suck on a computer. TV would be alright if you get a DVD
The Dark Knight is considered one of the best superhero movies ever created...
and it's a tad fucking different. Bruce gets cool shit and can fight well, Superman is an alien being that can do ANYTHING. Of course Superman is going to have a ton of special effects, you retard.
