idk how but people on my facebook saw a early showing today and they all loved it, and they're the type of guys to be big critics on the type of movie.
Yeah same here. Seems like a few of my friends saw it and they looked to be pretty damn stoked on it. I'm hoping it's gonna be good, I feel like as long as Nolan is involved, it'll be badass.
Too many Superman movie remakes. Would be nice to see something else for a change. The Green Lantern could have been really cool, but ended up sucking miserably.
The Green Lantern will never be cool. And there haven't been too many remakes, especially compared to other superhero movies... the last one was what? 7-8 years ago? That one wasn't too bad and they at least switched it up to Lex Luther instead of doing another General Zod origin story.
in my opinion, the marvel group is ruining, and i mean ruining the superhero genre, but DC is making up for it with batman. hopefully the combo is good, i feel like snyder could make good of it because of his background, he fits with a superhero film. I was supposed to see midnight premiere but my friends fucking ditched me so ill probably just see it tomorrow, fairly excited.
Hahahaha, Marvel is ruining it? Yeah you're right.... those Iron Man movies, recently re-done Spiderman movies (which are pretty accurate to the comics relatively speaking especially with a really controversial scene that may happen in the new flick and the ones with Toby weren't too shabby either), Thor (good but the sequel may be better), Captain America (which was well done) X-Men (first of the trilogy was incredible along with First Class and their origin stories, even though it doesn't follow the story line all too well) and the Avengers Initiative which has spanned many of their films as a setup, which is unheard of, over many years for a couple of films with continuity (Avengers flicks)...
Yeah, they're ruining it, alright...
What I'm trying to say is that you're a fucking moron that probably jerks off to Catwoman every night.
Just saw the movie, and thought it was kinda shitty. I have liked most of the recent movies based on comic books, but for some reason I felt like this movie was just never ending. There was also a bunch of attempts at one-liners that just got annoying. Overall it was another somewhat exciting superhero movie, but it got to be too long.
I just have a feeling that JLA would just be terrible on film. To be honest the whole reason Batman, and the new superman movie works as a whole is that they come from a "realistic universe", and that they both are symbols.
When you throw in the other characters right off the bat.... I just don't think it's gonna work. The reason the avengers works is the time they put into each of the individual characters before they threw them all together.
They are just trying to rush JLA to cash in on the superhero trend.
Probably, but I really wish they would make a movie for Jon Jones because he's such a badass. But otherwise it'll probably just be a forced attempt to try and match the aAvengers if they do end up making one.
Yeah, I guess some of the highest grossing films of all time of shit then. If you don't like it just go hang out at some shitty rundown theatre with all the other hipsters and talk about cinenamatography and plot devloppment.
is that supposed to be some sort of insult? i would much rather talk to people about cinematography than try to convince you boneheads that "the avengers" was a purely awful movie.
You know it's funny when some kid thinks he knows better than 90% of all movie critics that have seen the film... just because the subject matter of the film is outrageous, that doesn't automatically make it terrible. You're a fucking idiot with very little knowledge about film.
it doesnt matter how much you know about film, its plain to see that nearly all superhero movies follow the same plot, and when you add what, 4 extra superheroes it just becomes clearly a "sell out" to the crowds who will be willing to pay to see a movie with all of their favorites in it, even if there is no room in the movie for any sort of interesting plot or genuine substance.
really liked it. better than i was expecting it to be. very entertaining would recommend people go see it in the big fuckin theatres in 3d. you'll for sure get your money's worth.
I saw it also, and I felt like I had seen it beforr several times. It didn't bring anything new to the table, except I really liked the opening scenes on Krypton. Otherwise, what I mean by "i've seen it before" was just endless fighting scenes in NYC (yes i know metropolis) like The avengers, transformers or even Iron Man. But, at no point was I thinking superman was ever in danger. Plus, he was dumb as fuck. I'd give it a 6.5/10.
I thought it was really good. the interpretation of the superman story was quite interesting and the special effects were fucking insane. Overall I would give the movie an 8/10 because some of the acting was meh.
i thought it was a badass movie. i knew it would be good because it was by the guy who made the dark knight movies and i dont think it was as good as dark knight rises but in my opinion it was a really good movie
let me explain it to you since you're too dim to get what I'm inferring...
you're trying to pass your self off as some sort of movie expert even though the only movies you've watched are big budget films that cater towards the unwashed masses. The fact that you're trying to look down on other people's opinions is nothing short of laughable. You haven't said anything that could be regarded as remotely insightful and you're a terrible person. Need I go on?
They're superhero films you fucking retard. Go look at any respectable reviewer's write-up of those movies. I guess they're just part of the brainwashed masses, huh? They probably don't know shit compared to what you seem to know.
The only laughable thing about this is how idiotic you are. "Duhhh like movies CAN'T be good if they're about superheros because it's not like indy enough... hubdbdduhhhhh".
