Camping spots by Hood

some of my buddies and I want to road trip down to hood this summer. none of us have a lot of money so i was wondering if there are any place to camp at the base? anyone with a good answer gets k+

im pretty sure govy has places where you can stay pitch a tent.

while on the subject, me and my buddies are planning on road tripping out to hood. We'll have like a fifth wheel camper on the back of my buddies truck. Any spots (hopefully free) we'll be able to park for a week?

you can stay right in the Timberline parking lot as long as you are parked right up against the concrete barriers
