I sell cameras for a living. Its an atrocious piece of shit. Basically the cheapest possible camera with a good zoom.

I will have to agree with this solely based on the fact that I have used too many of these cameras from loser relatives who don't know what kind of cameras to get so they buy these things. I have yet to use one of these types of cameras that has even come close to satisfying me. If you can't afford even a cheap ass DSLR, most point and shoots now could probably do better. I'm not a fan to say the least

not even remotely true. The sx50 is a piece of shit but theres a few really good ones like sony's hx200, and Lumix's new model with fixed aperture f2.8 24X zoom.

This belongs to the category of shit zooms or crappy budget bridges. If this is a bridge then here it is.
