well i respect the fact that you dont like them, but you cant say songs werent well thought out. It is nearly impossible to be a band as big as nirvana was, with multiple producers/ studio musicians/ support/ talented members, because putting out a bad product is something people strive NOT to do. Kurt Cobain was probably one of the best melodic music writers of the 90's too, there are at least 4 of nirvana's songs that are instantly recognizable by a single riff. and the rest are the same, so im not really sure what you mean by well thought out melody but "click click boom splat" is extremely sub-par.

i meant to say in their era, fuck my life. but like the few years they had the public eye they were the biggest. and the point was that any "rock" music that is that big just does not get made poorly, and that ar6 was being typically stupid by saying that they were bad.

because i GUARUNTEE that although those bands might not be "hip" enough for mr. el gato, they spend an immense amount of time in the studio working out albums, songs and even certain riffs. I agree, most of the shit on that site is just not what i want to listen to, but the bands work hard to put out a product, and they are certainly talented.
there is more to music than appealing to a big headed mod on some forum. (i.e. you)

Queen is absolutely brutal. I literally never get angry but the second Queen comes on my blood starts boiling. Absolute fucking shit. Except for that fat bottomed girls song. Queen is hands down my least favorite but others I dislike:

The Beatles are overrated as fuck, don't necessarily hate them but I can't stand to listen to them

The Police

Coldplay. No reason for this one, wish I could figure out why I'm not a fan

Foster the People. I mean come on

Of course Creed and Nickelback etc. Although the guitarist in Creed fucking shreds

And 95% of music that isn't an actual band. Yeah I'm hipster like that

There are so many I could name but here are a few just off the top of my head: paramore, u2, nickleback, evanescence.. pretty much any of that punk rock shit. I've been really picky about what I like lately.

These aren't really bands let alone music but these are worth mentioning: nicki minaj, biebz, pitbull.

yeah did you read that article correctly? it says cobain was unhappy with the first album, mostly because it sounded unfinished, and after nevermind was finished, he was pleased with the final result, so by your logic i guess if somebody is happy with something and it ends up making them money, they're a sell out, whatever, if thats the way you describe it, cobain and the rest of nirvana are sellouts. again to my original point though, they were talented, and ar6 is cock for saying theyre not.
