So over the summer I may be helping to design a park ski for a company. Heres your chance to put in some thoughts for what you would like to see from this ski. Any thoughts on tip/sidecut shape, width, rocker/camber or flex is helpful and I'll take them all into account.
They will definitely be very buttery. I feel that skiing park is all about having fun firstly, but should be more about style than just being able to huck yourself as hard as you can and whoever can spin and flip the fastest wins. I would rather see a guy throw a crazy steezy rodeo 5 than see someone huck a triple. Thats cool and all but style is more important to me and i love seeing guys butter into steezy tricks and i want to design a ski that will more promote smaller stylish tricks rather than big pop massive spins
^ Thx for stealing the words from my mouth. And you'll need on the graphics to be really origninal for being recognized by the peeps! Like with pink side cuts with the domains, all the people recognize this. (Sorry for my bad english, but I hope that you understand what I mean)
As is with no design on the top sheet they are pretty recognizable haha. Check out skigrace.com and you'll see what I'm saying. The concept isn't up on the website yet but there's some other really sick skis right now
I downloaded it a few weeks ago and it worked just fine. The link I downloaded it from is somewhere in the Ski pressing/contructing whatever thread
Someone said it wouldnt work for them though, dunno about that...
