Earing Help!!!!!!!!!!

Sup guys, today i got my ears pierced and they told me there that i have to wait for like freakin 6 weeks before i can change the studs to rings.... this really pisses me off cause i dont want studs for that long, does it really matter if i wait that long or can i just change them after liek a week?

It depends. If you do what they say you probably won't get an infection. You have to keep them clean, and sleepers (the small rings) are probably the best for that because you can actually turn them around. Good luck!

i only kept mine in for 3 weeks.. the second time.. but hte first time i left them in the 6 weeks... but its just up to you.. as long as you have an earing in them at all times and you keep them clean then it shouldnt matter if you take them out a lil early

i took the ones out that they peirced with like 4 weeks later but put other ones in that wouldnt agrivate them or cause infection. keep them clean and you should be alright. it usually only takes about 4 weeks for them to heal and then you can change them.
if you gonna put gauges or plugs in i would suggest waiting the full 6 weeks so that the hole is well formed before streching it.

I'm not quite sure, but I think this is the thread on earings. If it's not, simply ignore this, because, well, yeah.

You should keep them in for at least 4 weeks to prevent infection. It's a lot easier to keep them clean if you keep the ones in that they were pierced with. However, if you are intent on changing them, make sure you soak the new earing(s) that you are about to put on, in some rubbing alcohol. If they are at all dirty, your ears can get really badly infected. Make sure to clean them regularily, no matter what.

i waited the full 6 weeks just to be sure i have had my left done for over 2 years and right for over 1 year and i slowly streched them out to a 6 ga.... it was actualy fun

I'd keep them in, a few weeks won't hurt but it's better to not get them infected

just keep em in for 6 weeks....maybe a little less if you really wanna change em. i got mine pierced like...4 yrs ago and kept em in the whole time and they didn't get infected at all and didn't hurt to change em when i took the studs out.

yeah i am thinking keep them in for like 2 weeks, like clean the other ones liek mad and get someone to put them in for me, cause the ones i wanna change to are like almost the same size and i figure if they are both clean it should be okay.... fuck i wanted loops before i went to high north... oh well

when i got my cartilage pierced i tried to change it like a week later cause the studs are gay and it started to like grow back in while i was changing so i ended up shoving the stud back through...baicaly re piercing it...it hurt..i almost fell over....but then i waited a month and then changed it cause i was scared it would grow back in again

you should have gotten them peirced w/ the earring that you plan on wearing, if you go to a non jewlery store they'll do that w/ a needle, like getting your belly button done.
