sackit's kind of funny how any mention of food without animal products will attract a load of butthurt kids who feel they have to sound off.
"vegans are pushy?" not as pushy as people who love bacon and feel they need to tell everyone how good it is.
sackthanks for the kind words, but I wanted to share some pictures and just found all the butthurt comments funny.
anyhow, who doesn't like to look at delicious food?
would you rather I make a new vegan food porn thread?

ianrich511Vegans are crazy though. No animal product whatsoever? How do you go about life? I could literally never, especially not in the Midwest, without drastically changing my life and spending much more money just to be "Vegan".
sackthat's great that you cut down on meat!:) to be honest, 5 years ago I felt exactly the same way about vegans and vegan food. the fact is, eating a vegan diet can be really cheap. Actually I became vegan to save money haha (grass-fed milk and cheese is expensive). if you eat meat replacements like soy cheese and soy meat, especially the good ones like Field Roast veganism can be really expensive. (or if you buy a lot of vegan baked goods at Whole Foods.) However, almost any non-vegan dish can be made vegan without a lot of specialty products. For most people the big hump to get over is quitting cheese. I live in Japan so we don't have any non-dairy cheese but we do have mochi (it's like melty cheese) and shio-koji (gives a cheesy taste to things) which are super cheap. There are also lots of cheap snacks and ready to eat foods in the store that just happen to be vegan, in both Japan and north america. I think the impression that vegan food is expensive most people get is because foods with the label "Vegan" are expensive, but that's just because they are also organic, super food, sugar-free, whole grain, no preservatives/colorings, raw or whatever. Vegan doesn't necessarily mean "healthy."
ianrich511I totally agree. Most of my meals are vegatarian but also technically vegan. I was referring to the vegan lifestyle, like not having leather shoes. I gotta have leather shoes.
Christine670Hey what´s the problem with this vegan food porn? i think that looks delicious...
