whats up NS,
been a while
I'm moving to Bozeman in late summer. Looking for some immediate employment, but also trying to plan ahead for the winter. im looking to ski every day / morning atleast, and work afternoons and nights.
How is bridger to work for? they seem like a very ski oriented employer, but i dont know forsure. i wouldnt mind working full time if i can get a ski break everyday, but i would prefer to work evenings and ski all morning!!!
anyone with some good info for a ski bum whos looking to work to pay rent and ski hard this winter, let me know!!
(i spent 2 winters at alta, working at their retail shop, skiing atleast 2 runs everyday of the winter, i want that, but better)

most jobs at bridger don't allow ride breaks on the clock fyi. i'd look into working at big sky, moonlight or the yellowstone club. not too far from boze, there's a bus and you get to ski quite a bit

im looking to get my foot in the door with patrolling, any tips.
i thought about big sky area, but im really trying to live closer to where i work, and im living in bozeman forsure. i'd like to ski a bigger mtn everyday, but dont want to commute an hour or 2 every day just to work.

I'm an instructor at big sky and live in bozeman. The drive takes me an hour from my house to the parking lot, and its usually faster on the way back (barring asshats clogging up the canyon). I drive a 04 forrester and it takes me a quarter tank round trip.
There are also busses to and from big sky and its $5 round trip or something like that. So getting to Big Sky really isn't tough at all.

The best options would be to either work at the roundhouse up at bridger(5 minutes from the lifts), Work for bridger, or work downtown at either the roundhouse there, P.H.D. skis, or chalet. all are good.
