This is probably a repost but im going to get the Armada Pipe Cleaners in 166 but im not sure how they are on rails and jumps. Any help would be apreciated especially from someone who owns the 2013 ones.
these skis are super dope, the bases and edges make the ski fast and the 83mm waist on the 166cm model make it nimble. I'm assuming that the edges are pretty durable for sliding rails, boxes, and jibs
They're essentially the ar6 (very slightly skinnier and softer than the ar7) but with a half cap half sidewall construction and a race base. They're super fast and light, and the bases are very durable as long as you wax them regularly. With the race base, they'll stand up to as much abuse as another base, but you have to wax/maintain them much more frequently, but you'll be rewarded by not having to hike as far up the inruns to features as your friends. I've had a great experience with mine, although the edges on mine have cracked in several places from lots of rails, although that will happen to any pair of skis given enough use, and none of the edges have started to pull out so I'm not worried. Great ski for sure. I'd offer to sell you mine, but I ride 181s so they'd probably be a bit too big for you...
