I stand on my rotation for about 12 hours a day and need some shoes that are super comfy. my heels have been killing me recently and I've decided to find some shoes that don't look like shit to help me out. I see a lot of people with crocs or clogs or some other shit, but I'd rather not spend money on those things.
does anyone know of a good shoe that works well when you're on your feet all day?
I'm actually not allowed to wear those into the operating room per state law. And for the boatshoes, those look sick but my feet would stink up the room hahah
I just got a pair of quicksilvers with an almost identical design to the sanuks^, but with more clean lines. The soles are super soft and really flexible. The soles are softer than erasers. They are soo comfy, but due to the flexiblity and softness i trip over my feet on soft carpets every other step. So far for durability, they are holding up really well, but i go really easy on my shoes.
As for dress shoes, i found a pair of non boat-shoe sperrys and they are also super comfy
for everyone responding, thanks. but I need to know if they're comfortable when standing for multiple hours straight. I have literally back to back 3-4 hour cases that require me to stand in one spot essentially without moving. I thought the shoes I have now were good, but after that long my feet burn for the rest of the day/night.
I'll look into some of the options though, keep em coming
when you gotta pull out the big guns, get comfy shoes, and then get quality insoles. not even super pricey ones, but some nice cushy dr. scholls or something
I've actually found that NBs are comfier. Then again roshes are also half the price for a very slight drop in comfort. Both are great for standing all day though.
Well why do you think i put it quotes? Cause obviously theyre not formal, but they certainly look classier than sneakers. So depending on where he works he may need something a bit nicer than sneakers
well they are no more formal than anything else in this thread. that first pair of sanuks was just as classy as these. they have a fucking white rubber cupsole. what else are you gonna call them?
maybe we have a different definition of "sneaker" here.
I found getting a pair of custom footbeds made my nike 6.0 and it made areal difference working in a shop on my feet for 9 hours a day...that being said nike free runs are super comfy
