this sucks, to many hours

ok so this summer i wanted a part time job, and i figured id get around 25 hours a week, which is what i kinda wanted, but no, safeway decides to give me 40 fuckin hours a week! i even requested for atleast 3 days off, making it only like 32, but they didnt, they fuckin gave me full time. this has happened two weeks in a row! damn it sucks, anybody else have this happen to them?

yeah, at my job during christmas i had to work like 12 hours a day, it was mad. but now i work like 10 if i want more i get more, if i want less i get less. other wise i quit :)

yo my job did exactly the same thing to me..... i fukcing working 12:30 to 8:30 three days on three days off... half my fucking summer is gone thanks to that shit... im gonna tell them go screw yourself i only asked for 20 hours a week you pieces of shit

Last summer I worked 50h/week. It was awsome because I could afford to go out like 5 times a week and buy drinks for my friends. Also I've worked a 14h shift with no breaks, then slept for 5h only to work a 17h shift the next day with 1 half hour break. That's one mean in two days. I hardly see 40 hours something to complain about. Save a little cash, and buy your self something frilly at the end of the summer!

yea i quit my job cuase it was really hard and every day in the moring so i would work from 700 till 1200 sleep and then go hang out and do it again now i need a new job

ok, dont bitch about jobs on here. if you ont like it, quit and find a better job. it isnt really that tough. I was a lifeguard last summer, but quit since i would work 10 hour days in the sun with no breaks. so i quit. I got a job at a bar and a construction job this summer and am putting in about 50 hours each week. the money is pretty good too. all of the hours are made up for by a fatter paycheck which equals a fatter sack which equals more fun

man whats yer prob, i worked one summer made 4000 bucks at $7/hour and now it's all gone, i didn't think i was gonna be able to even find a job this summer, but now i found one, i'm gonna work 50 fuckin hours a week if i can, i can't think of a better way to spend a summer and have a shitload of money at the end to put towards skiing.

for real you guys, don't bitch about working because most of you are young and have another 40 years ahead of you. and to whoever was bitching about working 3 days on and 3 off that is fucking ridiculous, besides not working at all i've never heard of an easier schedule
