Leaving the ski industry

welp, i've made the call. as some of you may know I worked at stevens pass as one of the higher-paying jobs of the ski industry, skiing 100+ days a year, gettin drunk etc etc. i've decided to leave this.

big things comin down the pipe...takin a job working for OBAMA

Sounds like a fun transition. My brother is one of the top 10 lawyers one The Hill. Have fun wishing you had a life of your own. There's much much much much much better and more efficient ways to make a difference in the world if that's what you're aiming for..

I have to say, I disagree with your decision. I mean you to ski 100+ days a year, you get payed well, and it seems you have a lot of free time. That to me sounds like a dream job, I would do almost anything for a job like that and you're prepared to give it up. I'm disappointed in you man sorry.

I made a similar move last fall. This past season was my first of not skiing 80+ days in the last 7 years. Took some getting used to, that's for sure. Good luck man, the mountains will always be there if you ever decide to return.
