I actually called it pop until I was about 17 or so, then started randomly calling it soda instead. Now if I'm at someone's house and they ask what I'd like to drink I definitely say "do you have any soda" not..."do you have any pop." Or maybe I'm just assuming I do because I would never actually ask if someone had soda unless I had previously eliminated beer, champagne, wine, hard alcohol, robitussin, and rubber cement.
I'm from Seattle and I call them roundabouts when they are in a more major intersection, used to control traffic-- typically with yield signs. I call them traffic circles when referring to the tiny ones in neighborhoods around seattle that aren't really there for traffic, they're there to slow you down and eliminate left turning issues.
