Do I re-paint and build up the Fixed Gear frame and fork I just found at the dump (its that cheap Walmart one you see around, nothing cool) or buy the 1970s Schwinn Continental I've been eyeing on craigslist for $150. I Have an old set of drop bars, stem, seat, brakes, the only things I really need are a wheel set, BB, cranks (might have something from another dump find that might fit) Pedals, chain, that sort of stuff. Budget is almost none existant. I don't know why I'm making this thread, I guess for someone to tell me what to do.
I've owned a fixed gear before and decided it wasn't really my thing and I have bad knees as it is, and pedaling going down hill SUCKS but town is mostly flat. But it would be cool to just have a little beater bar hopper to ride in town.
