I'm gonna be in CO for like a month mostly in July and I was wondering if there's any rail jams or something of the sort? I know Woodward at copper has one in June
Also is there something like a snogression in CO?
And where's the best spots for cliff/bridge jumping?
Word on the street is that Woodward at Copper is going to be open to the public on Saturdays this summer. I don't know if that is true but I would look into it if you are interested. St. Mary's is definitely fun. It really depends where you are going to be in Colorado. I know of some cliff jumping spots near Summit County, Aspen, Boulder, and Crested Butte. Also, buying old tire tubes and floating down any creek or river you can find is a fun time.
Yeah its hot like every day and no body will talk to you, especially if you are from florida then there will be a giant lynch mob awaiting you when you arrive here and you will be dead within minutes of your arrival to Colorful Colorado.
theres no hiking on the breck resort, but st mary's is snow, so long as you dont mind sun cups....the real summer gem is the mountian biking around summit in the summer. keystone bike park is my favorite lift assisted stuff up there
woodward has a rail set up every saturday, now its $25 because they have lift access and it isn't just hiking (get tickets online theres only 50spots per saturday). also st marys, and 4th of july bowl. Mtn biking at keystone or winter park. I know of cliff diving in boulder but i haven't spent summers in summit area. If you end up closer to steamboat i could help ya more with that info
I'm sure there will be. I'm not sure how much snow, but last year I think they did public sessions into August, and there is much more snow this year. So I'd say there will definitely be some snow. Also, I highly recommend mountain biking.
I'm bringing my bike and Idaho springs, but there's no room in my car beecause my entire family will be going
but if I drive by myself one time I wouldn't mind picking you up
bump. ill be trying to ski from the 28-30th. I'm planning on going to st.mary's and a spot in rocky mtn natl park. would be great to meet and ski with some nser's, since all i have now is my unmotivated brother.
