What size big mountain ski should i consider?

im your height and weigh 140lbs, i ski 184s for park and all mountain, have a pair of 187 pow skis. could probably see my self skiing up to 190s if i wanted to. Id say anwhere between like 183 to193 would be a good size

Get around 190-205ish I'd say. Keep in mind rocker can affect handling to a small degree.

The standard sizing method I learned, and has served me well was this.

For a beginner your skis should fall between your chin and nose, intermediate should fall between your nose and eyebrows, and expert they should fall between your eyebrows and top of your head, if you like them that long. By the time you are good enough to be considering skis that long, you should have an idea of what you want and the differences each length will make. Keep in mind too if you are riding skis with alot of rocker on the tip and tail, they will handle like much shorter skis.

I'd say even your "expert" level is still too short lol. Nothing I have is shorter than me, even park skis I've had. hahahaha

There's a guy that goes to my school who tried to tell me one day that skiing big mountain and deep powder was really fun and worked really well on snowblades...

But OP just go to your local shop and talk to the ski tech.
