one kid i know accidentally skipped a section today when he was like 7/10 done and he was invalidated; another kid i know today had his phone go off because someone texted him. i didn't take it today tho
i took it this morning. honestly thought it was super easy. first one i've taken. only ones i left blank were like 5-7 or so of the ones where you fill in words to the sentences
They weren't that bad except for how damn hot it was in the room, and I wrote less than a page because of the time limit... Math was surprisingly easy though
it was so warm in the room i was in and it sucked. I thought the math fill ins were kinda hard but everything else was alright... what did people have for their essay question?
For real I didn't study at all but I didn't ace it, I got a 1500 and all my friends who were in the 1800-2000 range were making fun of me. Well I'm going to college for free, and they're paying 20k+ a year. The SAT's are certainly nothing to make a big deal about.
For the record, guessing randomly on the SAT hurts your score more than leaving a question blank. It's -1/4 of a raw point per wrong answer, and they round up, so missing 6 takes off two whole raw points.
Yes but if you can eliminate one option than you should guess as statistically it should improve your score. It's pretty easy to get rid of one answer choice usually so on most problems you should mark an answer unless you run out of time or have absolutely no idea on a problem.
