went to a punk show on a native reserve last week. there were two other guys there who showed up. besides us it was just the opening bands and the people who worked at the rec centre. super weird but we got to shout out requests to knucklehead.
I've seen deadmau5 twice, which I enjoyed at the time. Don't think I would do it again. Naughty by nature was pretty rowdy, and steve aokai (idc about spelling) and the bloody beetroots were insane.
The first concert I went to without my parents was Modest Mouse and my eyebrow was split from Isaac Brock's shoe crashing into my face when he stage dove onto me. It was amazing.
Seeing Eddie Vedder play his Ukulele Songs album was also amazing. Especially since I got to meet him and he hugged me and told me I had an awesome name and he said if he had another daughter he would give her the same name.
Really every concert that I've been to has been amazing.
Lotus or STS9 anywhere, anytime ive seen them (20+ times combined) has always been un realllll. Such amazing music live. And I know a lot of people have been hating on sound tribe these days, but Saxton does such an amazing job with the lights/production you gotta admit.
Can anyone recommend any good concerts to go to this summer in Colorado? I haven't really been to a "real" concert before and I'm finally able to drive, so I'm looking for something that would be fun to go to with some friends.
Up in smoke tour, anger management tour 2, Em and Jay home at home tour detroit, and watch the throne vegas plus the last 4 years of bonnaroo have been insane as well!
Flying Lotus just recently just blew my mind. Saw J5 in the last few months and they didn't disappoint. also Jack Johnson at the Gorge on my birthday is definitely up there.
Burton Cummings playing live for BC Day a couple years ago. Was a whole bunch of artists like Colin James and Feist too but Burton was the best. Guess Who songs for days.
