Hoodcast 1.3 critique

Hoodcast 1.3 // Minute in May from PB N' J Media on Vimeo.

I was just wondering.... I am doing anything seriously wrong here? Whenever I post a new Hoodcast it gets tons of downvotes? I have no idea why this is? Maybe you guys could give me some hints?

i wasn't really feeling the music and at some points the filming was a bit shaky what are you using as a stabilizer and some of the audio that was in the shots was sorta weird because of the wind you for sure have tons of potential in this edit tho it looks sick other then those few things hope this helps man!

like said in above post it was pretty shaky and the audio seemed pretty suspect. maybe also check your white balance, the whole edit seemed to have an unnatural blue tinge to it that im pretty sure you could have corrected super easily.

For the white balance i cant really set it because my custom white balance doesnt work on my nikon d5100... and the audio is really windy... I have no idea why i have a deadcat for my mic? Any other critiques would be great?

what's wrong with the name? the only other thing that is close to hoodcast is hoodcrew but hoodcrew doesnt even ski Mt.Hood until the summer? I thought it was different enough but i guess not?

I understand the reference, but the *blank*cast is pretty played and even though it makes 100% sense to you, i bet a good chunk of people think its "hood" as in gangster or something so they down vote it. just an idea, trying to help

Well i am sorry the music wasn't to your liking I don't know what offeneded you about the music it is a pretty mellow instrumental but okay! have your on opinion!

I actually like some of the Hoodcast videos. But in this edit the music was not that great. But overall I don't find them that bad.

Is the kid with the orange helmet from NY, because I think I may know him. I know that it'd be hard to tell, but not that many people have orange helmets and I think he has the same skis.

But I do agree that the video was shaky, and framing was kinda off at times. And it was windy sounding, even though you have a dead cat; maybe you had something of yours brushing on your mic.

The kid in the orange helmet is not from NY he is an Oregon local... with the sound on my rig my mic isn't brushing up on anything and I still get horrible wind in my audio :(
