Sure, maybe send some FBI folks over to his doorstep, maybe arrest and search him on suspicion, and maybe throw an ankle tag on him for a few months and give him mandatory counseling sessions... but 6 months of federal pound-me-in-the-ass-prison for a twitter post while he was probably high as balls?
But nope... Spend thousands on yet another inmate, for half a year, which will fuck this dude's life up even more than it might already be, just to 'prove a point' or some bullshit that 'teh interwebz is serious bizniss', then throw this dude back out onto the street, where he's now pissed off, with a sore butt, and lots of new, pent up issues with a government he already doesn't trust? Way to create a guy who might actually point a real gun at the POTUS.. or anyone for that matter WITHOUT the blind threats...
