Definitely do it. Beautiful game, and really keeps your attention. The ending is pretty unreal too. Very original, very good.

Gets very repetitive at times when all you do is kill people and guard Elisabeth, but the graphics are great and the story is awesome.

the combat is top notch if you switch it up once in a while and dont stick with the same guns/vigors. also you dont have to guard her at all..

Its an amazing game and the ending is just unparalleled. But be warned the game is extremely short and after the big ending reveal, you sort of lose motivation to play the game again as there is no alternative ending like the prior Bioshock games. All in all, torrent this sucker if you are on PC or rent it seeing as even if you play it again on the new difficulty unlocked after the game ends, you probably won't touch it again.

Woah just picked up bioshock and bioshock infinite and I already finished bioshock and am partway through infinite. I have never ever enjoined playing a video game like I enjoy these. They actually have compelling stories it's like reading a good book.

No. If you want to play a good game, Get the first Bioshock. Significantly Better. I cant even finish infinite. There is nothing to it. Just killing people and protecting some dumb bitch. You dont even have to use the plasmids or what ever they are called in infinite. All you need is the carbine and you could beat the game on Hard.

TL;DR: Get the original Bioshock. So much better.

Infinite is incredibly overrated and shouldn't have had the Bioshock name attached to it. It isnt a bad game per se, but it has nothing to do with the first two games and felt incredibly overblown. The game has good atmosphere, but it cant compare to the creepiness of rapture. I also felt like the ending was unnecesarily convoluted and poorly written.

RFT. Thats exactly how I feel. The only reason 2k attached the name to it was for publicity purposes.... hardly even similar games. Play the original.
