Why are there so few black skiers?

Is it because they are afraid of the white snow, or is it the fact that its frozen water and they cant swim?

To answer this in a way that isn't completely racist, skiing was a cultural pass time and necessity for traveling through snow.

where are Black people originally from? africa. is there skiing in africa? now you know why most Black people dont ski. also because statistically Blacks come from low-income, high-crime areas in north america, and thus dont have the ridiculous amount of money needed to go skiing. its certainly weird though. im half Black but i most definitely look more Black than white, and im usually the only non-white face in a sea of white faces where i ski

I know plenty of white people who say 'I love the snow'. Never met a black person who said that.

This mainly, And just a lack of tradition. Black ppl come from warm places so for them to becomes skiers would mean at one point one of them changed it up

there are defintely lots of black kids who ski, but they are not really "Black" under most peoples descriptions

Because skiing is basically a water sport and black people usually stay away from the water unless they're wearing jorts. You cannot wear jorts and ski.
