I have no idea what im doing in this. Some people said cork misty or underflip. I know i dont really ever land it but i just want to know what rotation im throwing.
thats a full in gymnastics terms i believe (a full backflip with 1 twist)
if you put it a bit off axis it'll be what skiers and other athletes call a cork 7, but you're not even flipping backward you're going sideways so it's pretty weird.
throw backwards a bit more than to the side and you'll have yourself a cork 7.
Not trying to thread jack but i would also really like to know what this is. I shot it on my phone but it'll be in an edit soon with obviously better quality. We thought it was a dub cork 12, what do you guys think?
Ok so i still cant land cuz my trampoline has 0 bounce but i think i got it now, and im curious what i did in the second trick. I think it is a d-spin.
Lol, I forgot what life is like not living next to Woodward. Ever since Woodward Tahoe was put in at Boreal shots of people on normal trampolines seems so small and stupid. I guess having a supertramp and like 10 in-ground tramps to foam pits and whatnot really spoil you.
first trick was a cork 7 you just didn't quite get your feet back under you. it's looking a lot more corked than like a gymnastics trick now so keep it up.
second trick looked kinda like an underflip but i'm not fully sure
ok thanks and yeah i was going back and forth between what that second one was. I still am not sure i just threw my shoulders so weirdly that it throws me off.
not really. Rodeo's are kind of a whole other animal. Basically think of it this way. D-spins are more inverted corks, rodeo's are more inverted flatspins, and bio's are less inverted misty's
Seems like hucked backflip 180. When I try to teach flips to my friends I like to think of them as different percentages of spin and flip. So in a cork, you should be throwing it 80% like a normal spin, 20% like a flip, so it really doesn't feel that different than throwing a normal spin (at least for me). With a true D-spin 7, its more like 50-50. In the video you kind of threw it with 75% flip and 25% spin which is why it came out as that hucked back flip 180 rather than a dspin 7.
Im landing cork 7s and almost getting cork 9s around, and starting rodoes but yeah i had to replace the springs to my tramps so i can get more air. i still cant get cork 3s and 5s but ill try your technique
