I like using the instagram, but come on. It's just a fucking app to share photos with... not some life changing thing. I only watched the first two minutes of this vid but it made me even more scared for this planet.

In a way, sure, it makes sense. it's being a community that sounds cool to me. mostly because it shares your moments with other people who aren't there...I'm thinking my buddies in the town I last moved from, the people back in high school who I haven't seen in a while. plus, art is always fun to share (instagram being art is surely arguable).

But really, the community that really matters when you take the picture is the people you're with. being on your phone takes away from that, and overall, instagram takes away from that moment, even if you're sharing it with your peeps elsewhere. as a whole, I think SMARTphones are more antisocial than not. I think it's sad when people are stuck with people they don't know and automatically pull out their phone so they seem less awkward, when, in fact, they're just blatantly ignoring the other people even more.

Maybe if I watched the whole thing I might be more drawn toward their point, but sadly, I'm pretty preconceived to think otherwise.

I totally agree in the fact that these people (specifically the ginger girl) completely blow it out of proportion, but some of the people really explain its purpose, and remind people not to take it seriously

Sorry for double post, but yeah there is thy classic awk bitch who always whips her phone out in social situations.... But that's beside the point, I believe they're just explaining the fun purpose of Instagram. But the whole "life changing" stuff is bullshit, it's justo girl who can't make friends in real life...
