Been watching a bunch of surf videos lately. I wish i grew up near the ocean. Being a pro surfer has to be the most awesome occupation of all time

i wish i lived somewhere closer to the ocean. surfing seems pretty similar to skiing, just the overall vibe

^^would like to but the next surfable stuff is either a 3 hour flight or a 10-14 hour car ride away.

i was once last summer and its fun as shit. i second the pro surfer thing. if i could choose to be pro in one sport (apart from the financial benefits of football players or golfers or whatever, just for the sports sake), it would be surfing.

For sure. I mean think about what your job is as a pro surfer. You get flown around the world and stay for free at awesome locations like fiji for free. It would be like a never ending vacation.

i tried to go out today in NJ but it was cold as balllss. I had a 1.5mm longsleeve top on under a 3/2, no boots or gloves. my poor hands and feet. also no wavveesss.

A little early to be going out with out booties and gloves.. Yea surfing is super chill and you can meet so many cool people. There is a 75 year old guy who teaches surf lessons and is great at surfing. i wana go but my board broke at the end of last season so gota work a little.
