I mostly don't have any problems with snowboarders. Skiing and snowboarding is the same thing. I only hate snowboarders that don't respect skiers and think they are pro when they do 180's and film it with a gopro.
I don't mind most of them and some stuff looks cool, but there are plenty of them that think snowboarding is the coolest shit on the planet. That bothers me...
I snowboard, and it's AAWESUM and I will never go back, pow's too good, but I love skiers and freeskiing way more than any other snowboarders apart from my buds, I literally hate every other snowboarder. And the snowboarding world has a thing with wearing too small clothes, I'm gonna stick with baggy. Seriously, my snowboarding style is taken from freeskiing
Word up. Not necessarily by choice because all my friends just happen to snowboard, but I feel like I run into ego issues with skiers way more often than boarders. Don't get me wrong, I love my sport and am all for anyone who wants to try it or do it, but in my own experience the guys on skis have a bigger problem just being cool with whoever wants to ride with them.
My brothers a snowboarder and so are most people I ride with. They can be super chill. During Christmas break I was skiing in Austria and it had dumped. Me and my brother were skiing a closed run with alot of pow when part of his binding broke. He went down to get it fixed and I spotted a group of 3 snowboarders also in the pow(not usual for Europe). They turned out to be british snow bums and even took us to some chutes and pillow lines.
They can be super chill but also super douches
