You may think they should but a lot of of "sports" like skiing or camping or fishing have recreational sides and competitive sides. I like competitive sports when it comes to team sports but just playing for the fun of it is just as much fun.
After seeing what you look like, I certainly don't believe you. Unless it's a pee-wee league or something.
As for me...I used to play baseball, then quit during high school to focus more on tennis. I played tennis competitively up through my first year of college, but quit due to it being too much to handle with with my courseload and having practice every day and traveling every weekend. It was fun though. I still play recreationally.
I also do all the other "regular guy" sports like cycling, BMX, and wakeboarding in the summer, and I EVEN LIFT, BRO.
tennis is fucking awesome. and like skiing, its a lifetime sport. While you're a beat to shit old man from playing rugby or whatever, AR6 will be killin it on the tennis court.
In High School I did Football, basketball and track. In college I duel sported football and track for a year then just went with Track. Now im playing Club Rugby. Season just ended looking forward to some down time.

im a ruthless bocce ball player, love anything on two wheels, and my jizzing records are 24 seconds and 49 minutes, for quickest and longest respectively.
Weight lifting is a huge love of mine, and I now compete in bodybuilding (figure). I do a ton of distance races in the summer (5K to half marathon) and will eventually start doing triathlons. I play co-ed soccer, football, and will hopefully soon join my boyfriend's co-ed softball team. I also swim, bike, and do tons of shit outdoors. I've recently been training a LOT for my sheep and goat hunts in the fall by doing mountain climbing/hiking and hitting the stair stepper in my mountaineering boots. And who could forget CrossFit?
