I'm looking for a first pair of twin tips

I am 5'8 and 120 lbs. This will be my first pair of two tip skis. My old skis size is 143 nordicas I think. I was looking at dynastars like my icon.

nah some 191 on3ps, the wider the better, makes rails way easier

nothing is better than on3p. on3p is a better car company than Ferrari and they don't even make fucking cars.

Having a good ski depends on where you live and what you ski. ON3P's seem to be more of a west coast ski with the rocker, while Armada's don't have as much rocker, that may be better if you live east coast/Midwest. The rocker is not as good on ice.

For first twin tips you don't need anything fancy. On3ps are the best skis out there, you don't new those for your first ski. Get a playful ski that's gonna be generous for a beginner like the line masterminds. Skis like on3ps are gonna be to hard to use if you've never skied twin tips before. Just get masterminds and then later, when you know what you're doing, you can invest on a quality pair of skis.

ON3Ps are indeed really nice skis, but they do require a skier with some existing ability to really make the most of them. Also I'm sure you've noticed they are on the pricier end of the spectrum.

When you're starting out, a ski like an FR would be overkill. Instead I'd focus on getting a solid pair of well fitting boots, these are you most important piece of gear. As for skis, I wouldn't go looking to shell out too much, I'd go to your local shop and see what they have there for you to have a look at, see if you can get some demos, and speak to the guys in the shop, they should sort you out. A lot of beginner/entry level park skis are softer flexing, for you this shouldn't be a problem as you're pretty light.

Definitely don't get ON3P for your first twin tip, if you're planning to beat something to shit learning in the park, get something like the line mastermind, the k2 press, surface blanks, get something price point. They're made for people who ski park at a beginner level.

I think atomic punx would make a good beginner ski as well as an expert ski. They are light, buttery and the funnest skis ive ridden. I dont know if symetrical skis are hard for someone new to twin tips but i really like these skis.
