Post-2010 French Montana. The guy has a few hot songs every now and then, like State of Mind, Lay Low with Prodigy, or Once In a While off of his album, but for the most part he has such a bullshit catalog full of songs like Pop That, Ocho Cinco, and Marble Floors. Listen to anything by him that came out prior to the incarceration of Max B and it completely outshines anything he has released since he hit the mainstream markets.
Srsly tho obviously we have never heard the worst rapper. That's like saying who is the worst football player and then naming NFl players. Obviously try are better than 90% of the population and are good enough so that you know their name.. Maybe it should be like who is the worst lyricist signed to a major record label or who has the worst flow out of these certain rappers... Way too broad of a question only designed to start a shit storm.
This review of French Montana's debut album, released May 21 completely backs up my initial post:
Bruce Smith of HipHopDX gave the album two and a half stars out of five, saying "Excuse My French comes off as extremely formulaic. The use of recognizable samples, the go-to features of the day (Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, two Lil Wayne features, three Rick Ross features), the attempts to cover all markets and demographics, give the album a forced feel. While some of the records either have, or will make their run in the clubs—strip clubs specifically—listening to Excuse My French in its entirety is an extremely strenuous task at best. While excessive tales of flossing, the streets, and misogyny are nothing new to Hip Hop, the complete lack of creativity those subjects are executed with on this project, whether it be lyrically or instrumentally, make it a hard listen."
I mean in the context of court, it was going around for a while that he said 'bitch I might be' in response to a judge asking if he was guilty. I still laughed tho
i honestly cant figure out why my friends listen to riff raff. I think hes hilarious but his music is terrible. They say they listen to him because hes "ignorant" but i just think he sucks peen at rapping.
