so i know some of you are into making music and had a question for anyone who can offer some insight. if you have used both cubase and adobe audition or even if you just happen to know some shit about them feel free to post here. i've used cubase for the past couple years and it's alright but i recently subscribed to adobes new creative suite thing and have the ability to use audition and was just curious if it's worth switching over and learning a whole new DAW.

Just stick with Cubase man, I've never heard of anyone using audition as a daw (although that doesn't mean its impossible). I don't think adobe is even on the radar when it comes to audio, although i could be wrong.

You would generally use audition to edit sounds rather then create audio. It does have a multi track function but its better for audio processing. But most of what you do in it you could so in cubase any way. It's usefull for other media production when you just need a little audio processing now and again.
For what you want to do stick with cubase.
