im 15 and I just got my braces because my mom had surgury 2 years ago we couldnt pay for both..When did you get your braces and when did you get them off?

Ya my friend had a crazy underbite the it corrected, so I thought it was pretty capable for polymer trays. Seems like there's all kinds of crazy shit out there they can stick in your mouth though (sts).

Got mine spring 8th grade and got them off late fall 9th grade. Less than a year.

i got mine off 3 years ago, but thanks to never wearing my retainer i get them again in a month.

don't worry- its ok. I might get invisalign on my lower teeth after already having braces from 15-16-- and I'm 30 now. FML. Although I know it is an option, they shifted when I got my wisdom teeth in and the continued slight shifting is causing discomfort.

I had mine for around a year, got them off somehwere around 9 months ago. I've worn my retainers basically 24/7 since then, but just lost my bottom one. It will be 3 weeks before the next one comes, I'm so scared.

Get permanent retainers, they're a smaller wire that sits on the back of your teeth when you get the braces off. That's what I have and I never have to worry about wearing mine.
