im 15 and I just got my braces because my mom had surgury 2 years ago we couldnt pay for both..When did you get your braces and when did you get them off?

it's not that bad unless your head is completely fucked. wear your retainers or it'll last longer

I got mine Fall of 6th grade, so probably 13. Got them off this year (I'm a 10th grader now). I had them for four years, but they were TOTALLY worth it. I had mine especially long, you'll probably have them shorter. Kids your age have a "braces blindness" where they really aren't that big of a deal visually since most kids have them. Just, as everybody said, WEAR YOUR RETAINERS

Had them from 13-15 I think. The orthodontist even had to move and make room for a 4th front tooth (I was born with 3). Just had to get two buttons put back on last month while they make room for the implant too, but I got them off today (19 now). Soon Ill have a full set of teeth for the first time in my life, plus pain meds. YAY SURGERY!

Oh and listen to everyone on here. WEAR YOUR GODDAMN RETAINER

13-14 I think, they kind of sucked but I only had them for just over a year. got a wire on my bottom teeth after, but I hated it so they took it out. I probably should wear retainers, but its been so long now that it doesn't really matter. Don't even have them at school, but i might wear them occasionally (one night a week ish) this summer just to make sure they fit

I had them in grade school, so probably around your age.

Never wore my retainer because I could not sleep with it in.

My teeth moved, and the one is not right.

Now I am an adult, and will be going back to get it fixed somehow. Not sure what way I want to go about getting it fixed.

Got mine a little less than a year ago and I'm 16. They suck ass. I also had to get 8 teeth pulled. Fuck that shit. Got bands. Fuck that shit. Gonna have a straight smile. Fuck yeah

My wife paid for Invisalign as it was a much nicer option for an adult an it was almost the same price. It is very expensive for that or braces, so if your parents pay for it as a kid be extremely thankful that you won't have to worry about it or pay for it later.

I was in grade 8 and got them off in grade 10. Totally worth it though, good decision, chicks will be all over your smile after.

I believe I had mine about a year and a half. Summer after junior year of high school into like the first month of college.

My dentist told me i didn't need them when i was really young, so I never got them. Then it was suggested I get them. And I'm really glad I did. I had a lower tooth that was further back than the rest, and didn't care when I was younger. But I'm sure I'd care now.

i just got an upper and lower permanent bar on the back side of the teeth. no retainers. no worries.

I got mine late seventh grade and had them removed pretty much exactly two years later in freshman year. So 13-15. Everybody had them so they weren't a big deal, and it's amazing when they come off.

I'm 17 and i've had mine on for a little over a month..had my first appointment after putting them on yesterday. I'll have them through my first year of college. Sorta bummed but having an awesome smile will be worth it

I had them from 12-14. I still have a small wire in the back keeping my front teeth from seperating.

Idk when I had them. Probably 5th to 7th grade. I've had ortho shit since 2nd or 3rd grade, got my wisdom teeth out in 8th grade, and now i'm still retaintering. Fml
