Usually I've been a big time Xbox fanboy. But it just seems that Microsoft is coming across as such a bunch of pieces of shit. - no backward compatibility with games, I guess cause of new OS n shit. - cant transfer Xbox live purchases - cant use old controllers or headsets and the new headsets use this funky port. Ms did this to gain control over the headset market. - mainly focused on multimedia--I buy systems primarily for games. Don't care about gay gimmicky shit like kinect. Ps4 looks powerful as fuck, it'll have call of duty, they have free online subscription. I'm in a nerdy dilemma What're u gonna pick?

Neither console is an improvement on the previous console, so I don't know why anybody would get either one. Regardless, if they had a gun to my head, I'd get the PS4 for the free online.

I was more just coming from the standpoint of this is a X-Box One or PS4 thread.  I just think that the PS4 is just going to give it a better go for those exact points.

I just got back into gaming after dropping it for 5 years, and realise that I can't game like i used to ( i get headaches and sick to my stomac if i play for more then an hour). After having an x-box 360 I was really open to both systems but the PS4 is just pulling me in more.

Still nothing will ever beat Goldeneye multiplayer, Star Fox 64, and crawling around the Duku tree in Zelda.

honestly i dont get why the "save" stuff for the E3 reveal. Why don't they just reveal everything at the reveal, and everything again at E3?

Worst thing that will happen is more coverage.

I don't play video games anymore. There is probably a chance I will get back into them, but for the most part I'd rather golf than play a golfing game, or watch football than play a football game, etc.

Why is it that people stop playing video games...a lack of time? I don't know...I just stopped.

Turns out a few americans have followed this logic, they'd rather run into a theatre and shoot it up instead of shoot people in a video game.

I don't enjoy any games asides from online shooters pretty much.

I don't think a lack of time has anything to do with it though. It is a bit frustrating when people say "I go outside instead of playing video games". I'd bet that im more active and spend more time outside than so many of the people who claim that sort of attitude.

A few americans are like you, a couple of them decided to go have shootings in public places instead of on their video game consoles.

Why people stop playing? I'm sure an abundance of reasons. I do know that gaming is not in anyway an indicator of an unproductive life without outdoor activities, as the stereotypes suggest.

seems like the xbox one is all about kinect/tv which is dumb, but I would never buy it anyway, who wants to pay for live when the ps is free? (and better graphics) And if you complain about controllers you're dumb, you will get used to either controller after about a week.

wii u

a. i dont need a tv to play it
b. actually good console exclusive games.
c. very innovative controls
d. i can play wii games and later gcn games (im not sure if ps4 can do this, i really only was interested in wii u and xbox 1)
e. Tried and true, nintendo is best at being innovative.
f. Nintendo is going to take on many 3rd party companies for games, (AC, DARKSIDERS)
g. Supports the wii remote.
h. Wii u is keeping up with xbox 1 and ps4
no xobx 1, ps4, PC exclusive geams.
i. Handheld (3ds) to wii u go hand in hand to eachother (monster hunter tri ultimate, new pokemon is going to have some things for some examples)

granted the wii u is rather expensive and i will admit that could be changed, but at least i can buy used games, and play my games on more than one console)

also the memory is a little low (actually really low), but thats not a big deal cause a decent sized sd card is not expensive.

The only reason I will by that is for the super smash brothers game that comes out in 5 years. Other than that there is no reason to buy one.

also doesnt look like a huge step up from the wii, which i have. and i modded it so i can play free downloaded games, and it has n64 on it as well as snes and nes.

1080p doesnt mean stellar graphics..

it must be a step up from the wii, otherwise there would be no point to making it, im just saying. I prefer a motorbike instead of a scooter.

PS4 will back a huge punch compared to wii u.

If you're into super mario n shit, then its for you, but i like shooters.

I may get one or the other eventually, but not right away, since literally all I play these days is NHL and NHL 14 isn't going to be offered for the next-gen systems. So at least a year until I get one. And honestly, I don't care which, really. If the Xbox is cheaper but the difference in price is going to be offset by the amount I'll have to pay to have an online account, I'll probably get the PS4.

I have always been a PC gamer and slowly recovering wow addict. I'm looking at the ps4, but won't make any decisions until I read some reviews of Destiny and see what kind of content the game has.
