OT Bluetooth tags

I just bought a pair of outdoor technology tags. I am concerned that I may have gotten a faulty pair because the range is nowhere near 33 feet. And also there is some buffering even when my phone is in my pocket. Is that normal or did i get a faulty pair?

Bump. I couldn't tell you much but it does sound odd if they're having to buffer with you phone in pocket.

It might be that you have a faulty pair. I've never had either of those problems with mine. In fact they probably go more like 50 feet away with mine
