Which ski would be better for TOURING and a little bit of bc freestyle? Also which would be able to handle some groomers (when skiing side and slack country and need to get back to the lift)?
I have new lifes but havent toured on them, I love them, their my go-to ski. They're perfect on groomers and bust through crud. They're a dream in pow even when mounted centered and have a low swing weight. Hope I helped
Liberties will be better for touring and groomers, surfaces will be better for backcountry jibbing, but both of these skis do very well in all of these aspects.
You know what my answer will be haha, I know a few guys who have toured on them and they have no problems. As far as jibbing goes they are amazing, fully symmetrical so they ski switch like a dream and are really easy to whip around.
thank you!!!!!! i just got the liberties in a trade but wasnt sure if i should keep em or sell em to get the surfaces. all my concerns are GONE, thank you again!!!!
I'm converting my double helix's to a touring ski next season. Mad light, the waist is forsure fat enough and the camber profile keeps it versatile on piste
