SURE DOES. 3-0!!! First time since 2002. I was at the game today, so fucking great. Broke up a fight in the first quarter and nearly got tossed from the game cause I was "involved".

yes, this. up until now it has been such an emotional roller coaster to be a hawks fan-- it feels nice to not have every game come down to the nail biting wire.

One if the reason I like sports. It's almost impossible to predict how things will go. Although I still don't see the 9ers or greenbay missing the playoffs. Although I'd still love to see it happen;)

See I have trouble with that too, but after this week, I could totally see them losing their divisions (SF more likely than GB because the Bears aren't anywhere near as complete a team as the Seahawks).

they are a semi pro team, they have no qb and worse they have refused to admit it for 3 years, and now they're stuck with a guy who couldn't even win the starting job there. they're beyond bad they're one of the worst teams in recent memory, last in defense, bottom 1/3 in offense. I can't imagine coaching staffs spening a lot of time analyzing any game tape involving them. I'm picking against them every week I can in my eliminator

I know you're bearish on the Hawks but what do you have them finishing at record-wise? 10-6?

They have the Texans, Colts, Falcons and Niners on the road, so that's four, but they might go 1-3 in those games. They have the Saints at home but it's hard to see anyone beating them at CLink right now.

I dont know what their record is going to be but they're making the playoffs. I just don't think a close win against an average Carolina team, a blowout against the 49ers (after a certain point the other team has given up whether they admit it or not ) and a blowout against the Jags is enough to judge them by. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose first round or win the Superbowl. But right now I would guess tossup Texans leaning towards Texans, beat Colts, tossup Falcons leaning towards Seattle, lose to 49ers, tossup Saints leaning towards Seattle.

We really have no idea how good anybody is yet and there also hasn't been any big injuries yet this year

They also lost Russel Okung, and Avril supposedly has some hamstring issue. Brandon Browner and Chris Clemons have been out for the first two weeks and are still getting healthy. Bryant had back spams I guess. So the D should actually improve. Spencer Ware is still out but with Lynch and Turbin that's no big deal.

Also I think they're a 12-4 team, personally.

well that's not really how it goes...its not like a player misses all of training camp and half of the regular season and then can just come in a slay it with an offense they have no playing time with and a body that hasn't been used in months. They'll be lucky if he gets to play at all this year at all, let alone anywhere near his full potential.

I could be wrong, Oakland is awful, but for some reason i think oakland might pull an upset tonight, probably not though. You never know with rivalry games though.
