As soon as the 49ers and Patriots lost, I knew the Seahawks would win it. Denver is VERY reliant on that air attack which allows Moreno his yards. Once the Seahawks got those first few stops, I knew Denver would have no ability to come back. Those Seattle DBs really know how to play and how to tackle, which, IMO, is a lost art among modern DBs.

I know some people will say I am being a Patriots-blind fan, but I truly do think that the experience BB and TB have in the playoff would have allowed them to make the proper adjustments to make it at least a competitive game. That being said, I love seeing Peyton get blown out. Its funny how quickly the Media Machine makes excuses for him.

They were outclassed that day. I will be the first to admit it. TB was off on all of his passes, BB couldnt make the right calls. Everyone makes mistakes. But if you look at TB and BB for the most part, they are able to make those adjustments. Hence, 24-0, come back to win that game.

my grandfather was moved to tears at the end of this game. it's his bday today, turned 82 and has lived in seattle his entire life. the last time he was able to celebrate a championship was the 79 sonics. today was a great day for seattle.

I guess thats what happens when your city wins its second sports title ever, I wouldn't know, being from new england and all, we can't all have won 8 titles since 2011 though. But I'm glad you guys made peyton cry, fuck that pussy.

Still it's a team based in mass I don't really care what they decide to call themsleves, they're still a mass/Boston team. It's like if idaho,oregon,montana,Nevada and Utah all were die hard Seahawks fans.

Why not? He's obviously one of the best quarterbacks ever. What does denying that prove? All calling him a clown does is make the Patriots look worse because he has given them so many problems over the years. If the Pats can be beaten by a "clown," what does that make them? Talent is talent. You don't have to love it, but you do have to respect it.

Same way any self-respecting Boston fan respects Kobe and Jeter, even if we don't like them.

Yeah...can see how it sucked for everyone else, but man it was great to see our team play so well as a hawks fan. Broncos didn't really show up, so that made it a bummer in terms of a "good game."

Little off on the size comparison there actually. Most people in NE can reach a Pats game before people living on the eastern part of Washington can. Also, CT and parts of VT are divided on supporting NY or NE teams so it is not all of New England that supports Boston teams.

But yes, we are spoiled. It sets a high standard however, so it makes losing even more painful at times. We expect our teams to play for championships ever year, and anything less is normally a disappointment.

Any Boston fan who hates Peyton needs a reality check. For clarification, I do not hate Peyton as a player. I hate the media-driven, band wagon fan hype machine that pumps so much into the news about him. We get it, he is one of the greatest of all time. Not the singular greatest of all time. He hasnt proved to be good enough in the playoffs to give himself that label. I dont care he sets meaningless records in the Super Bowl. He needs to win it for me to consider him to be in that position of GOAT.

But to say that he is a terrible player? Come on now. Thats like saying LBJ is horrible because the Celtics beat him quite a few times in the playoffs. We may hate playing Peyton, but you can only hate playing someone because you're afraid they will beat you.

WE DID IT. That stadium was fucking booming for the first play, turns out the 12th man travels well. This means even more to me since I am a seahawks fan and I realllyyy don't like Peyton Manning. I think he is an overhyped diva who trys to act humble, but the media just says greatest of all time whenever he does well. He is one of the greatest qb's to ever play. But he's not THE greatest of all time. I think Brady,Rodgers, Bradshaw, Montana, Marino, Unitas, Staubach, maybe even Elway, are all better than him. And i love that my seahawks, my team full of loudmouth, deaf, short, slow, no-name, late round draft picks, just took it to the media driven bandwagon.

And I really believe Peyton is much more of a diva than we all assume, and much more of an asshole than Brady. I see Brady as someone who just has such a deep passion for winning for his team, I see Manning as a player who wants to win for himself.

i think hes more pointing out the fact that even nobody cares about championships except the team who won them. the buzz lasts a few days then the discussion turns towards next season, especially in the nfl with the draft. in a few years you can't even remember which team won in which year.

Hahaha he's finally completely lost it.

Wish it had been a better game, but pumped about the result.

The score got out of hand, but the way the game went - Seattle D giving up little of anything and no big plays, Wilson and Co. doing just enough while not making mistakes, and special teams making an impact for the Hawks. No one predicted 43-8, but if you'd laid that game story out beforehand, it would have seemed plausible.

though to be fair, Peyton setting a SB record for completions, and DemayriusThomas setting a record for catches, yet losing by 35, probably wouldn't have.

Hell of a night.

Ever heard of the saying "statistics dont tell the whole story"? This game is a prime example. Who cares if DEN had more yards? All that matters in the end is they sucked in the Red Zone. SEA DOMINATED Denver in all aspects of the game. Did they have more yards? No, but they were much more efficient with what they had.

A fluke is an unearned accident. I believe the definition of a fluke is an accident. The way we played wasn't an accident or an act of God. The Seahawks are good.

Why are people still blaming Payton for losing? Did anyone watch the game? The Broncos defense lost the game, yes the Seattle defense made a huge impact on the bronco offense but still, if the Broncos could've stopped Seattle from scoring they would be only had 14 pts and would've made it easier for payton.

damn this fucking sucks, couldn't be more bummed. The fact that we played so horrible just burns even more. What a shitty way to go out in the Superbowl.


The second we got a safety first play of the game it was over, our heads were not in the right place yesterday. Hopefully Manning doesn't retire or I really won't be into football for a long time..
