summing up some of the stuff Ive said about this being the worst playoffs I've ever seen... It started with an officiating error that led to the wrong team (SD) making the playoffs. Wildcard weekend produced only one memorable game (KC vs IND) and it turned out to be meaningless (IND lost to NE which lost to DEN). Out of 4 divisional games, only 1 (SF vs CAR) had a lead change, and it happened in the first half. The AFC Championship featured two of the greatest QBs of all time and didn't live up to expectations. The NFC Championship was decided by officiating and looked like a WWE even at the end. I mean, even when its bad its good but this year was just really disappointing.

if wilson played for the broncos, all we would hear is how the defense won that game.


i agree on the lead change thing in the DIV playoffs. actually, the closest defeat was by 7 pts.



and idk how i am losing it lately, i just like guys that make the game fun to watch. and i disagree with the wrong team making the playoffs. not to go all through it again, but the chargers got screwed (NFL admitted it) on a FG call in wk1. every week are bad calls and every single bad call CAN change a game and thereby the season. so i really dont like that argument, just because it happened in wk 17. they beat the bengals in the most lopsided game of the WC weekend against a superbowl secret favourite (seems like its been a while, but thats actually how the bengals were seen a few weeks back).

dont agree that the NFCCG was decided by officiating.

To those talking about the handshake celebration by Lynch, I think that may have been a combination of him being tired and not trying to have a crazy celebration. If you watch the play at the 15 yard line he starts to stumble for no reason and rolls into the endzone, gets up and looks winded (obviously).

Not trying to say hes not a classy guy, but lets not get ahead of ourselves on that TD celebration.

Lynch is one of my favorite RBs in the game right now, dude is a straight monster who is always fun to watch. Crazy stat of the game was when he had 100 yards and 76 of them were after contact.

In the long run, the two things that will be remembered will be the post-game interview and Bowman's injury. However, the injury will only be remembered if he is unable to perform like he used to, or exceeds his former play. The interview will be shown for years.

i sure as hell thought he pulled a hammy on the 15.

what says it all about lynch is that corner who EASILY caught up to him around the same time just tried halfheartedly to punch the ball out and didnt want anything of lynch.

yeah, you are overly cynical. i am sure its not something that ruins the day for anyone on an opposing team, however there is nothing that makes me feel all this support is more fake/manufactured/PC than any other injury.

god i hate you sometimes. make a post that contributes, instead of your same old spiel over and over. whenever a sports team does well the people in the city will jump on it. i guarantee more people rooted for kc once they started winning. it comes wit the territory of being good.

been a Seahawks fan since i moved to seattle 15 years ago, all of you guys are talking about Richard Sherman's interview, what about that Seattle gunner Jeremy Lain who got laid out by a 49ers player out of bounds. if you ask me once the NFL reviews this they should give a maximum fine and long suspension for a non suited player interfering with a live play with a player of the other team getting pushed out of bounds

everything sherman does is an act. no publicity is bad publicity. you realize how much money he is going to make when his contract comes up? he will be the highest paid corner in football. it's like a wwe wrestler. half the fun is the act. judge him by his play (which is beyond phenomenal) not his antics. it's ok if you dont like him. but i really dont understand why you keep coming back here bitching about a team/fans you dont like. we get it.

I'm glad you are right. A compound fracture on top of those tears would be absolutely horrible-- not that it isn't already. I just saw a bulge in his sock when it happened and thought it looked like he broke it.

Not role models? Are you fucking kidding? He's supposed to be the one kids who were in his situation growing up look up to.

Sherman said "don’t judge a person’s character by what they do between the lines. Judge a man by what he does off the field, what he does for his community, what he does for his family.” Sounds like he'd like to be a role model. I still think he's a douche but I always have. That interview didn't really change my view, nor was I really surprised.

yeah...communications major manages to get 100% of publicity in the days leading up to a manning superbowl...haven't heard about manning in two days...everyone thinks he's stupid...he's a genius.

Watch Richard Sherman "student of the game,"...the guy is all about showing people what they want to see, or what he wants them to see.

makes sense that ppl who think a college football player's gpa (in communications....................) means anything would also be the ones thinking hes smart. He lost control, he could have done his whole act in fun way but decided to make it angry, violent, and uncomfortable to watch. No publicity is bad publicity has never applied to athletes.

Like is being said everywhere outside of seattle, you guys are unknowledgeable, bandwagoner, hypocritical apologists and you're the reason people cheer against you, its not the players on the field. It wouldn't even be that bad if you guys would just own it. and if you guys win the reaction won't be one of anger or jealously it will be more of disgust, like, 'we really just wasted a whole season for this?'

so many likeable players on the seahawks including lynch, wilson, I like chancellor too..but it's easily one of, if not the worst fan base in the league. The fans are making the entirety of new england root FOR peyton manning. Only a group of insufferable pricks would have the ability to do that
