yea no kidding, I was gonna mention it but didn't want to be incorrectly accused of complaining about the officiating even tho that was just a momentum play. they need to get rid of the coaches challenge and the league needs to take over. offenses move way too fast for the current system to be %100 effective

Most comprehensive online stream of all sports. May need to nerd out a bit to figure out how to get some of the streams. Some streams are full HD.

wow, some interesting games. pats pulled out a crappy win, but its a win. you see who is really trying to win a game for you in situations like this. amendola, brady, thompkins and edelman all showed up. kinda disappointed from ridley, but vereen picked up the slacked quite well.

panthers shouldve won. but you gotta score more than 7 points. big mistake by williams late. also a bad drive defensively that allowed the seahawks to run the clock out. 3-4 times they brought play action and dumped it off in the flat. thats just too easy. but the panthers defense will keep them in quite a few games.

surprised by tennesse, the jets. even though they lost the raiders looked better than all thought. jaguars, steelers, buccaneers were dissappointing. glad that the falcons got stuffed at the end. they got lucky quite often last year. adrian peterson is such a freak, its not even funny. like the first play he goes for 78 yds? you gotta be kidding me. he didnt do much after that, but give this guy some credit. might end up as the best running back of all time. and i am not even joking.

49ers right now look good, but the pass rush kinda stalls since quite a few drives. tyrann mathieu is the fucking real deal, and carson palmer might be just enough to make the cardinals scary. tough division either way.

This greatly surprised me. Didn't think they'd be able to stop Lynch, but they sure did. Not that that is an excuse to how shitty they did play on the ground.

I was very satisfied with Russell's passing game today though. Stoked for Seattle v SanFran next week!

i like both teams somewhat (at least a lot more than others) and so i kinda didnt care. russell wilson is looking like hes playing madden. he rolls around, looks away and delivers a strike to his receivers. the panthers were bringing a lot of pressure with their base rush and he made one mistake (grounding). otherwise it almost looked unfair. they flushed him left, right and he just hits a covered receiver without setting his feet. the other pass to the left sideline where the receiver just dragged his toes was world class.

haha yeaa! Doug Baldwin is really proving himself time and time again. Not sure why he is constantly playing the W3 position, but I guess when you've got Rice, Tate, and Baldwin its kindof hard to choose.

In other news, my Vikes did not show up today. Really hoping Ponder can gather some composure and put something together next week, otherwise Cassel needs to take over.

Not surprised by the Eagle's offense, but the defense which was expected to be a total liability, has played pretty damn good football. Who knows what the ensuing weeks will bring, but as an Eagle's fan, you've got to be encouraged by what they've shown tonight.

yeah that was bad. omg.

seriously, 1 or 2 first downs per drive late and this game is not even close.

but on the other hand, its encouraging how they played against the "best team in football". biggest problem was, again, depth. i know that FG personal foul and bad offensive performance at the end, but the biggest problem was bront bird covering owen daniels. he is just not an everydown NFL LB.

realllly hoping Ponder can get his head out of his ass, this season im really looking forward to having some sort of throwing game. but i guess if not...AP for 2500???? go Vikes!

but in all seriousness. what do you guys think, Adrian getting over 2000 Yds this season. i think he will get over 2000, but not 2500.

this is my first year doing a fantasy league. pretty pumped about it! even tho my draft position kinda screwed me haha. going to be another awesome season of football! get stoked.

no shit hes not gonna get 2500, or 2000 for that matter when is the last time an rb has had back to back 2000 yard rushing seasons? never, last year teams didnt focus on him because he was coming back from the knee injury but this year its gonna be different, especially if ponder cant throw, and let me guess you watched the league and now play fantasy football which got you into real football? one more reason i hate that fucking show and when chicks try to talk about football

oh and just to further explain what i mean if you took away his 78 yard run AP got 15 yards on 17 carries, against the lions,a team with the worst rushing defense in the league last year, and he didnt even break 100 yards for the game, how could you possibly think hes gonna put up over 2k?

Two problems with your post (aside from the cartoonish, outlandish, wholly unnecessary misogyny throughout).

1.) The idea that teams didn't scheme for AD because he was coming off of an injury is laughable. No, you're right, they were so intimidated by Christian Ponder that they trotted out 7 DB's every play...

2.) The Lions didn't have the worst run defense in football last year. They were ranked 16th, exactly average. You could argue they underperformed, even.

I'm not saying he'll crack 2k again, but he'll be a force assuming he's healthy.

they definitely didnt scheme for him as much as they are going to now, he started the season splitting carries with tob gerhart last year, and i guess my source was wrong but the lions D is still awful and so is 15 yards on 7 carries

such a brutal game for the chargers, I almost feel bad for them. But since when we're the Texans considered the best team in football. Maybe top 5 or top 10 but they're definitely not the best..




AFC west should be good this year, I doubt anyone will be able to keep up with the broncos. But the chiefs look really good, and the chargers look alright for being in a complete rebuild. Raiders too are a bit better then expected.



Super stoked for the eagles and vick, that chip kelly offense is unreal.


Eagles vs Broncos superbowl would be sick!

well i heard some "experts" say that. maybe i worded it wrong, since they are "only" (probably) the most balanced.

but you hear experts gush over the falcons as being the best team in football, so what.... and remember these predictions came before anquan boldin singlehandedly destroyed all doubts about the 49ers passing game, before harvins injury details got published and before the broncos defense showed up without dumervil and miller.

its not outlandish to say the texans were, before wk1, the best team in football. neither is it impossible to make legit cases for 3-5 other teams.



i like your last sentence. (even chargers fans) people forget how the chargers roster was turned over and how limited their possibilities were to solve all problems (no top5 pick, no salary cap space). i just hope they can finish somewhere around .500 and be in the hunt until late. i think that telesco is a genius roster builder, but as i said, he couldnt fix everything.

I wouldn't quite say that. A few bad turnovers early in the game didnt help. RG3 playing his real first snaps in a long time looked like shit at first but definitely looked more comfortable towards the end. And we were playing against an offense and scheme that were completely under wraps until now. If we played the eagles in week 4, it is a completely different game.

Just poking at some fun. That whole game was a shit show, though. Miscues out the ass, Pockets collapsing, O-line playing like shit. They'll figure it out, its only week 1. I'd like to see them as a powerhouse.

And somehow mike vick played good.

mike vick played good because the Skins D was on the field the whole first quarter. Also, he hasnt had the chance to get injured yet. He will be by week 4 though.
