How is that taken out of context? hahaha so ignorant. It's a blatant cheap shot on a defenseless receiver, the play was no where near either of them.

There was a 15 yard penalty and I think sherman got fined. They were jawing at each other during the game and sherman took it upon himself to take a cheap shot on a guy not looking. Who cares what happened afterward? Doesn't change the fact that it was a dirty play

For someone that watches so many hawks games its hard to forget a play that happened a month ago against the team you just beat lol

he was just going to dislodge the ball, fairly average and definitely not head hunting a la james harrison...BUT it was a very shitty tackle, head was down with no attempt to wrap up, had harvin caught the ball cleanly there was a possibility to slow down and spin out of it. that's what i think really separates chancellor, the dude crushes people and wraps up.

pats are gonna be a tough out for any AFC opponent. running the ball that effectively is obviously superior to a passing attack. it keeps the clock moving, it deflates defenses, its low risk.

neither the broncos nor the chargers (chargers fan here obviously) should be able to stop that run game completely. and its still brady throwing. he throws it well when he has to and checks into a run when he sees a slight possibility. but he also has it tough to get into a rhythm, since there are spans where he is handing it off 4-5 times in a row. not as easy as it sounds.

and with that being said: "THE CHARGERS ARE ALIVE!"

i will tell you a little secret: manning will throw a few TD passes and rack up a lot of yards. also, the broncos are heavy favourites.

but its the postseason. anything can happen. chargers are definitely improved on defense, and even before(/during) they improved, they held the broncos to their two lowest outputs of the season. the chargers run the ball well and the broncos abandon the run WAAAY to early. seriously.

i really look forward to this game, it will be very very tough for the san diego super chargers to pull it off, but i am just hoping for a good game and may the better team win and hopefully there is no huge ref error turning the game either way.

chargers/pats would be awesome, couldnt really lose in that game, haha.

ehh I wouldn't put too much faith into that running attack. While it was on display the last two games you gotta figure it was mainly because the bills/colts couldn't stop anyone from running the ball so the pats completely sold out to the run. It also helps that they got up early in both games...

I don't know much about chargers run defense and the broncos run defense stats are obviously skewed because 90% of teams played from behind when playing the broncos, I just hope the pats don't all of a sudden think their identity is a power running team. It's a nice addition for other teams to prepare for, but there is no way they beat any of the remaining teams without brady absolutely going off

well i would trust that run game. bills have a good oline and the colts werent all that bad during the reg season in stopping the run.

i think what makes the pats a good run team is the obvious threat to pass it, their willingness to stick with it despite a few bad runs (for another approach, see: broncos, denver) and their schemes.

they dont have the personnel to go empty all the time. in fact, against the colts, they couldve taken the game away a lot earlier, but they came out in a empty spread 2 or 3 times on 3rd and short and failed miserably.

the oline is legit at run-blocking, but not so good in obvious passing downs (which is either dictated by down-and-distance or the formation, i mean when brady is in a empty spread, there is no threat of a run). so, all in all, i think they should ride their run game all the way. brady obviously will chip in, but they are a run team now. thats the patriots way. find a way to maximize talent. dont try to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Either. I predicted the 49ers would win, but I think we'd have a better shot at beating the Panthers, so that's kind of who I am routing for-- however, if the 49ers win, that will be an epic game for the NFC.

panthers just missed a few opportunities to make this a closer game. 49ers were better, but the game shouldve come down to the last few minutes if the panthers execute better on some key downs.

These CBS talking heads are gargling Peyton's cock so hard I'm shocked they aren't choking. Sharpe/Cower are calling him the best to ever play bar none. Saying that it doesn't matter what the rest of his career is like blah blah he's already the greatest to be

I really really like Peyton. As both a player and a person I think he's great for the game and everything. To say he is the best ever with only one superbowl win and an absolutely pitiful playoff record is insane. Yes peyton has broken tons of records, but he also broke the record for most one and down playoff losses. It's similar to people chattering about how amazing Favre was because he has the career TD record, well he also has the most career interceptions....

Peyton is great and one of the best in the game, but I think his playoff record and his constantly pissing down the side of his leg in the postseason is way more important than some silly stat records

They same people who said a few years back that, "peyton is done. Idk why denver is take this big of a chance on him. He will never be the same as he was. etc etc etc."

I can't stand the flip flopping of today's analysts. I also can't stand how ignant they act. I can't watch pregame/postgame shows because i can't understand the jargle slang that comes out of their mouths.

yeahh they are not looking good in the first half. THREE neutral zone infractions? I know it's loud and peyton is good at the voice inflection but damn three is inexcusable.

They also don/t seem to be giving rivers much time at all - that pass rush even without miller is still in his face. Denver coverage downfield has been great

obviously i am based, but its sickening how the broncos will leave a fully functional running game just to kinda showcase how great manning is or whatever.

first game against chargers, than the sickening 4th quarter "rally" (while being up double digits) against the texans, and now here in the redzone. you ran it up the chargers throats with ease, its 2nd & goal on the 3.

maybe its not cockiness, just stupidity. obviously i am glad that they do so, but COME ON MAN!

^ok, let me rephrase that. maybe they want to do the exact opposite of what the chargers think. but when you come out empty with a guy like manning, there isnt much tension left in regard to the playcall.

maybe its just a bad playcall, maybe its just that they want the game in their best player's hands. but overall i think they should rely more on moreno and ball.
