yeah this. they're getting quite a bit of attention this year, but last year and every year prior as far back as I can remember they've been given zero credit. Sure 2010-2011 we were going through quarterback transitions, but we still had some great players a really good/unacknowledged defense and special teams.  We still made the playoffs (saints game anyone?) People think of us as having a good defense now, but we've always have had a good defense.

And honestly now that we're being talked about, about 50% of it is naysaying hate. People talk about Richard Sherman being obnoxious or the noise at the Clink being unfair or about getting lucky (fail mary)--all three of these blown completely out of proportion and given way too much attention, while all merits are rarely talked about.

But you're right Baker, it is more fun to be the winning underdog.  

Also I suppose every person thinks their own team is a little underrated so I am biased from that regard.

As I redskins fan I cannot stand the Seahawks considering they've knocked us out of the playoffs the past three times we've made it. However, after watching Sherman mic'd up against the 'Skins in the playoffs last year I gained a lot of respect for him. The way he sought RG3 out and what he had to say to him made me like him a lot more. I'm still glad Trent Williams smacked him up though

No one is going to underperform more than the Jaguars this year. They are a travesty to organized sports and sport ownership.

looks like hoyer might have a torn acl.. i hate seeing things like this especially when the guy was playing so damn well. but my opponent in fantasy started him as their qb... haha so iv got a huge lead just from that but still sucks for browns fans. i feel bad for the dude.

sucks for hoyer. there was a good chance that both "brady" disciples (hoyer and cassel) would start the rest of the season. now hoyer is out and ponder apparently remains the favourite.

Yeah that's what the coaches are "saying" but the general feeling around here is cassel is in. Last week was just night and day with a lot of simple qb type stuff. I'm rooting for cassel too. The Vikings have a decent team, they just need more command and experience from their qb. It seems as though the veterans of the team are really rallying around cassel too, unlike ponder

Yeah, the Seahawks aren't getting any help from the officials but they really only have themselves to blame for this. They played absolutely lazy after going up 12-0. I have no doubt they can regroup but this game should be over and they gave it back.

Serious question: at what point can we start saying the Russell Wilson pick is the best thing ever to happen to the Seahawks franchise? I mean the guy just doesn't stop making plays, regardless of the situation. There doesn't seem to be pressure that he'll fold under; it's like watching the anti-Schaub.

You see the uncalled pass interference on the colts right after? I don't think they've been lazy. Got two first downs taken away on bad calls and still overcame and turned that drive into a touchdown. Also a field goal block isn't being outplayed...shit like that just happens, like our safety.
