West Coast Session Question

I see a perfect quad kink in all the edits of Mountain Hood and yet there is no mention or footage of anyone disastering it. This lack of empirical evidences leaves me with the question of, "since when did every skier on the face of the planet become a fucking pussy?"

You'd figure if anyone had the slightest chance of acquiring balls, it would have happened during the WCS (that's like cool abbreviation talk for the West Coast Sessions cuz like all cool things everyone knows about gets abbreviated).

The snow was insanely slow. I saw one person (Meeks) try it a few times he had to skate in from pretty far no one was into it with no speed.

Yes, you are terribly wrong. Almost as wrong as leaving a quad kink sitting there all season without anyone disastering it properly.

You talking about to the last down?

To be honest its not 2004 guy. We have gone beyond a 40 gap to slight tap.

However that disaster to 2nd down misty 5 was 2015 shit.

The rail was also sticky 95% of the the time.

This. The trail leading up to the quad is really flat for about 200 yards. Some days you can barely even make it from the last jump landing through the flats to the starting mound for the rail. When people were gapping to the second down they had to start a ways back., skate in and do it in the am when the snow wasn't glue.

dude , It's way scarier to disaster to the second down.
the shock you need to absorb on the flat part is way scarier then doing a big air with a slight tap at the end of the rail.

Im gonna agree with this. disasters that are practically airs to a stupid tap at the end are lame anyways. If you dont lock your grind, it shouldn't be a disaster, just a sloppy undershot gap.

This, also if you slightly overshoot then instead of gapping the whole thing and landing on snow, you're landing on the flat of the rail. You're also forced to lock onto the rail to disaster the second down, but if someone disastered to the last down it would be a stupid tap on the last 6 inches of it anyways.

What do you think happens when you don't go big enough and land on the last down?

The difference here is that you're going faster and falling farther before you land on the flat attempting to reach the last down.
