Got cut really bad this morning, didn't see a Med. professional just cleaned it up and bandaged it myself, what is a good rule of thumb to know if I need stitches?

If all you needed to do was clean it and bandage it to close it up you shouldn't need stitches.

i can't tell but it doesn't look too deep. if it's not painful and you keep it clean, no need to get it checked. don't let it get infected.
