I totally see what you mean and I think I had a hard time expressing this in my first post. All skiers obviously draw inspiration form other older and more progressed skiers. Henrik's skiing reflects a blend of all his inspirations mik d and thall etc. at all times no matter what trick he is doing, and it is also mixed into his own unique style. But the reason why I don't enjoy goepper's skiing very much is because every trick simply looks like something someone else has done isolated and separate from the rest of his skiing. For example if harlaut threw a blunt seven it would look like a mixture between all of his inspirations mixed with his own style, but a goepper seven would probably reflect a more bobby brownesque style, then is henrik were to slide a rail it would once again reflect himself and his inspirations, but goepper's rail hit would look like it came out of harlauts bag of tricks. It just seems like watching goepper ski is like watching multiple skiers ski separately, where henrik clearly expresses his inspiration and his own personality.
Goepper is a great skier technically, and he seems to have a very positive attitude which is awesome. Nothing else really even matters as long as he's having fun. And he shouldn't change the way he expresses himself through skiing just because not everyone on NS enjoys it. And most of his tricks are smooth, they just seem to lack any sort of originality at times, I'm sure one day he'll figure out what his style is actually like but until them I personally have trouble enjoying 100% of his skiing.
