I think it means that our ancestors plan of fucking and teasing with us via locations like Stonhenge, the Inca Lines, Pyramids, Easter Island, and so forth, has worked, and is still working. I think it was Carlin that said we should cast a dog skeleton in concrete with some weird stuff, bury it deep in a volcano shaft, and then laugh, because in 10000's of years, future humans will be going, "Well what the fuck does THIS mean..?" Damnit it's late and I'm going crazy.

I don't think you understand how carbon dating works. It's not an "unverified claim," but rather the measurement of the exponential decay of carbon-14, verified by almost a hundred years of scientific experimentation. The Nobel Prize in chemistry was given to the guy who discovered it - I'm pretty sure they made sure it was valid.
