I live less than like 20 miles from the san andreas fault, we will have small 3.0's relatively frequently, but I have been in some 6.5 and up. When I was in middle school we had one in Paso Robles which is about an hour from where I lived and we go hit pretty fucking hard. I think it was like a 6.9, it was intense and really fucking scary, cracked the shit out of my drive way.
