saw the kickstarter for this a while ago. seems like his design needs work, what's with the bits that fall out when the ski opens? also do you walk around the car park with your "skis" on or is there some way of removing the fold out ski thing. With the buckle systems on ski boots i really dont think there would ever be a boot as classically stylish as a brogue. Am I taking this video too seriously?

Seems i have imaginative memory. Too many wacky kickstarts to remember. Seems like a pretty shitty marketing technique. The premiss that people would see the video virally, go to the site and then click on the ad seems pretty weak.
