Stealing Rails

the one at my school is like a 20 ft down flat down. i was thinking about cutting a little bit at a time every night for a week, cut it in half and take 2 trips with a pick-up truck

Some rails are perfect, but arnt attached, like one time my friend saw one in this guys back yard, it was like a perfect 10ft round, but people came so we had to bust.

Jaa if you want to steal a rail from the 'city' you need to plan a week at least in advance. Plan who is gonna help you, what your going to use to cut and transport it and where you going to drive out to not get noticed. To steal a rail safely, you need to do it in one night, preferably under 2 hours.

well if you cut the rail it will ruin it, unbolt it from the bottom with a power drill or bolt driver, that way you can rebolt the thing somewere and the bases will be in tact still

What would you do if you actually got the rail out? Just put it in your back yard? Im assuming if your gunna steal a rail you would snag one from close by to transport it easier, but then were would it go with out people noticing?

i stole a 15 stair handrail a few days ago...me and 2 friends cut it down with hacksaws. it took 5 mins and we threw it in the back of a van, and even tho it stuck out the back we got the sucker home. it was WAY better than making my own rail. i'd suggest it, just dont do it by a main street. i took this one from behind a school that was on a side street. it didnt make much noise..

Its really tough to saw one off. I found one in this parking lot at this old closed dry cleaners. Only problem is that its full of concrete and i dunno how im gonna get it in the ground now...

^^5 minutes? Yeah, maybe if you wanted a flat rail with only one leg holding it up. To do a good weld, you def need more than 5 minutes. It would take 5 minutes just to set up an arc welder and get the rail how you want it to be welded.

KLD...I didn't say setting up and getting shit ready would take 5 minutes...but honestly..if you are a welder...how long do you think it would take to throw a few good welds on rail...doesn't have to look pretty...just has to be functional...but ya know what...JUST GO STEAL THE RAILS...because obviously since it is going to take more than 5 minutes to weld up a rail...ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT...i mean...heaven forbid it takes 5 and a half minutes
