Replying to Summer Ski Storage

Hey NS'rs. Hopefully this thread will be useful to others with the same question:With a lot of people buying new skis for next winter, what should they do to prevent dry bases and rusted edges ? Should you just slather some wax and call it good or should you be fine since they come waxed and ready to go when you buy them ? WHat about bindings ? Is it really necessary to lower the DIN to relieve tension off of the spring. Thanks newschoolers !
